For many of our sellers, Zoey is a key piece of their business, but it is not the only platform on which they are reliant. Having the ability to ensure data can smoothly move between platforms, such as for Accounting or other selling venues like Marketplaces, can ensure a business is operationally strong, with a streamlined approach to managing the business in the right platform at the right time.
With that in mind, we continue to enhance both first party connections, such as our recently launched Shopify Importer, as well as our nimble Data Mapper connectors that can communicate with just about any type of platform simply and easily.
Here are the latest updates across our various data and integration management capabilities.
FAIRE Integration Updates
We launched our FAIRE integration earlier this year, and with our evolving and improving our integrations across the board, many of the updates the FAIRE integration received leverages some of the capabilities we launched with our Shopify integration, making them more similar in management and operation. This will make it easier to use for business reliant on both platform connectors now and in the future.
- A new Inventory Mapping tool will pull the SKUs from FAIRE, map those that exist in Zoey under a new Product Lookup Attribute, and provide a report of unmapped products so they can be fixed. Then, the Inventory Sync will be possible for those products that are mapped.
- Default payment and shipping methods are established for all FAIRE orders imported, to streamline and simplify the process of orders captured outside Zoey. (This same process is used in other integrations like Shopify.)
- A single customer account is linked for all imported orders, a model also followed for other integrations like Shopify.
- A setting allows you to import the Order as shipped automatically.
Data Mapper Updates
We continue to evolve our Data Mapper solutions to support more use cases, as well as accommodate additional data points that were previously unavailable within the mappers.
- You can now delete Data Mapper Templates, as well as Connections when no Templates are reliant on them. Archiving a Data Mapper is also now available.
- A new Data Mapper allows for the automatic Export of Subscribers. (A manual Export option still appears under Features -> Subscribers.)
- Invoice Amount Paid is now available to include in the Invoice and and Invoice Items mapper Exports.
- For Data Mappers configured to use All Directory Files as an import option, you can now establish a “File Name Starting With” rule to limit imports from that directory to only files that start with that value.
- New capabilities, such as Advanced Filtering and the ability to export Customer/Account attributes, were added to the Invoice Items data mapper.
- A new setting can skip reducing inventory on orders imported through a Data Mapper.
- Order imports conducted via Data Mapper can now incorporate Order Comments.
- The Ordered Items Data Mapper export now incorporates an advanced data filter.
Attribute Updates
Attributes play a variety of important roles within Zoey, and we continue to introduce more ways to use them to help streamline setting up solutions for business requirements that carry complexity.
- Support for Matrix Product Attributes has been added to expand capabilities for more complex scenarios within Products and the Cart. For instance, you can now select both the SKU and the quantity to auto-add for quantity match rules using this attribute.
- An update to the Attributes settings let you establish what Order Status is given to split orders.
- A new attribute option lets Zoey products to be set Yes/No for QuickBooks inventory syncing, allowing specific products to bypass the sync.
- Order List custom Attribute filters have been added to the REST API.
- Attribute options are now supported by REST API endpoints.
- Customer and Company Attribute support has been added to both the Single and Multiple Picklists.
Other Data Import/Export Updates
And here’s a final batch of updates involving data throughout the Zoey platform, primarily in the Zoey Admin ability to import and export data, as well as other integration improvements.
- An Invoice CSV Import for Zoey Bills is now available on the Orders > Invoice List screen of the Zoey Admin. A sample CSV file is also available for this process.
- Orders imported from Fishbowl can now trigger the New Shipment email when needed.
- The Fishbowl Inventory integration can now ignore SKUs not in Zoey to avoid errors.
- The error messages on importers now include a numbered list format for an easier validation of how many errors were issued when validating the import.
- Orders imported by CSV can now be configured to not reduce inventory.
- Customer IDs are now acceptable values for importing Product Restricted Customers. Previously only email addresses were acceptable values.
- An update to Customer Importing allows updating the assigned Customer Group with a new customer_group column.
- Order CSV Import files can now set a send_email flag for triggering emails to internal watchers, as well as customers when set to Yes.
- Zoey Admin users can now customize the columns for particular contacts’ Ordered Items, and export the data, with the same overall options as offered at the Account level for bulk actions.
- Product names have been added to the Account Price Export and the Product – Group Prices Export.
- A new Name(Product) column has been added to the Account Price and Group Price exports.
