Credit/Spending Limits
As part of the Net Terms capabilities, you can establish a credit limit, which will not allow orders to be placed over a certain number until other orders are paid down. Credit/spending limits can be set per user, location or account.
This ensures you can limit your exposure to each entity, and can set values that are acceptable risk for you to take on for each of your buyers.
Billing Functionality
Send bills and collect payments directly within Zoey, without needing to connect to any other accounting software. Payments are collected via credit card using a Stripe or Authorize.net account, or through PayPal. Or you can record an external payment made to have Zoey in alignment with your accounting.
You can send multiple bills for an order, such as collecting a deposit upfront and the balance upon shipment; send a bill for collecting a payment under Net Terms agreement; and more. If a credit card is saved on file (Stripe or Authorize.net), you can even automatically charge the card to collect payment.
Purchase Orders/Offline Payments
Along with a variety of payment gateways that are supported to capture payment instantly on Zoey, we also allow acceptance of Purchase Order information in lieu of payment, as well as a variety of offline payments such as Check/Money Order.
For payments captured outside of Zoey, a manual payment can be applied, or through integrations to solutions such as QuickBooks Online, payments recorded in accounting software can be automatically applied to Zoey orders.
Split Orders
Zoey offers a number of split order options to make fulfillment easier. Merchants can select an attribute that is attached to each of their items, and split orders up when the attribute values differ.
For example, if you receive items from three vendors, you can set up an attribute with each product tagged with the vendor that supplies it. When a customer buys products that are fulfilled by multiple vendors, the order gets split based on that attribute information. An order for each vendor is generated, which can then be passed along based on how you interact with them.
Zoey also supports the ability to split orders by each individual item, or separating items that can ship today from items that are backordered.
There are a variety of reasons to split up orders; this gives merchants control over setting the rules about when and how orders are split.
Vendor Accounts
Going along with split orders, Vendor Accounts are Staff Accounts that are configured to only show data for orders relevant to a given Vendor, using Staff Account Restrictions.
For merchants that have vendors log in to see orders placed and update them, this makes it quite simple for those vendors to access data relevant to only their orders and products that they fulfill.
Tiered Pricing
Set steps, or tiers, in which discounts apply at certain quantity levels. These tiers can be customized for different customer groups, ensuring each group sees accurate pricing, including tier pricing, per group. Tier pricing can be prominently displayed on the product page to ensure customer awareness of the price breaks.
Quick Order
For businesses that buy the same products regularly, and/or know the SKUs they wish to order, quick order forms accelerate the purchase process by allowing the entry of SKU/quantity combinations via a form or a CSV copy and paste.
To make things even easier, Zoey merchants can pre-build multiple Quick Order forms, which include pre-entered SKU and quantity pairings for standard order types, which then can be customized by a buyer.
Quick Order forms work with Zoey’s Visual Design editor to allow display on various content pages, and can be access restricted to only be visible to certain customer groups.
Drafts for Later
Zoey offers the ability to create Drafts, which is the option to save an incomplete Order or Quote for completion later. Drafts created by customers on The Zoey Web, and your team in the Zoey Admin, can be seen across the Zoey Web, App and Admin.
Drafts can be converted to either a Quote or an Order. Drafts can also be saved to be used as a template for recurring Orders that are similar in scope, saving time vs. starting an Order from scratch. Drafts can also be named for easier identification of what each Draft is set up to be.
Quantity Increments, Minimums and Maximums
When you sell items that have to be purchased more than one at a time, you can set the increment level at which they have to order. If you sell by the case, for instance, and 12 are in a case, you have the option of setting the quantity increment of 12.
You can also establish minimum and maximum quantities allowed for a given item, to avoid one customer over purchasing or setting a floor in which you’re willing to fulfill.
Customer group settings let you further control what each customer group encounters. You may require wholesale purchases by the case, but consumer-facing pricing to be higher, but allowed to buy one at a time. This is possible with Zoey’s Customer Groups segmentation.
Pick Lists
To make it easier for your warehouse, or warehouse partner, to more easily fulfill orders, Zoey has pick list options that make it easier to generate pick lists based on each order, or generate a master pick list across a set of orders to simplify fulfilling a block of orders at once.
Single pick lists can be generated for a given order, and can be used to ensure all items from an order is in a box.
Multiple pick lists can be combined together based on SKU, order number or shipping type, ensuring a variety of ways to receive the data based on what is required by your team.
B2B/B2C Sales on a Single Site
Customer Groups don’t just allow you to segment customers by catalog or price – it also allows you to have a public pricing scenario that shows retail pricing for B2C customers that visit the site, while allowing B2B customers to log in and place wholesale orders.
Leveraging Zoey’s eCommerce capabilities, you can have a public-facing website that provides an SEO benefit while still allowing for a private wholesale shopping experience.
Abandoned Cart
Zoey offers a simple Abandoned Cart recovery option for you to prompt buyers when they do to complete an order. Schedule timing, email template and who it comes from as part of your ability to manage an automated process. increase your overall conversion rates and capture money otherwise left on the table!
Above and beyond that, your team, including sales and customer service representatives, can retrieve an abandoned cart link and send it manually to an account as part of working with them to get an order back up and running.
Free Shipping Option
Along with various carrier options, you can set up a Free Shipping option and establish rules on when free shipping becomes available.
This option can be used in tandem with our Customer Groups, which allows you to set different rules for each group that is eligible to see a free shipping option when minimum requirements are met. It can also be used based on specific products, where an item is being shipped, or a specific subtotal, depending on what your business logic requires.
File Manager and Product Attachments
File Manager allows you to organize your images and non-image file assets for your eCommerce store. You can sort files into various folders to make it easier to find the items you’re looking for.
Product Attachments allows merchants to place non-image assets onto various product pages, such as marketing one-pagers and product specification sheets. Files can include PDFs as well as Word and Excel documents, among others.
Promotions and Discounts
Establish discount programs that can be based on subtotals, products placed in the cart, or a variety of other types of rules. Trigger discounts to appear automatically, or require a coupon code, based on what is required for your promotion. You can even establish promotions to only be active for certain Customer Groups, to be able to control promotions by customer type.
Blog
A blog can be used to provide public information about your company, provide content marketing opportunities and more. You can mark posts with categories and tags, and allow site visitors to leave comments or ask questions.
The blog is compatible with Zoey’s Visual Design Editor for layout and design control that ensures you can have your content blend with the rest of your site. Blog blocks allow you to display recent posts, tags and more across various parts of your design.
Multi-Language/Multi-Currency
Zoey gives you the ability to set up a storefront that displays pricing in multiple currencies, and your catalog in multiple languages. You can set up translations for your content, as well as key terminology on the site, so you have the ability to successfully sell in multiple jurisdictions.
Sitewide Security via HTTPS
Modern browsers require websites to maintain a secure connection at all times, even if a customer isn’t entering sensitive information. Zoey supports sitewide security via HTTPS connections to a server. We also provide a free SSL certificate to support this feature, powered by Let’s Encrypt, as part of each Zoey subscription.
