Security and account management are often areas of concern for both buyers and businesses. Zoey’s latest integration with Okta for Single Sign-On (SSO) support for Zoey Storefront access offers a great alternative to the Zoey native sign-on process, offering an additional option that maintains account security for your customers.
Okta’s solution offers a number of benefits, including:
- Centralized Identity & Access Management: Account authorization and verification is managed in a single location, avoiding the need for each business to do this all themselves.
- Multi-Factor Authentication: Modern multi-factor options are implemented and maintained to ensure account security.
- Reduced Credential Sharing: Okta takes care of authorizing identities without the need to continually share a password.
- Risk Signal Sharing: Okta can monitor and detect unusual scenarios, sharing these risks and security insights across the system. Instead of going it alone, you now have a partner focused on security with you.
For your buyers, it’s easier to get into Zoey using their existing SSO access vs. having yet another password to manage and remember. This helps reduce friction when it’s time to place an order or access account information, continuing to improve the ability for self-service tools to reduce pressure on your support team when a customer is struggling to access their account information.
Once launched, SSO users who already have Contacts created within your Zoey environment will have their SSO linked to their existing Contact. You have the option of allowing new Contacts to be created by Okta users without existing accounts, or only allowing SSO to attach to existing Contacts.
