ShipStation is a popular tool that facilitates managing shipments in bulk. Zoey’s native integration with ShipStation has been a key tool for many of our sellers to process orders, attach shipping information, and automatically update invoices.
It’s that last capability that recently saw an update. Now, using custom fields, an Invoice can be updated with specific Net Terms for that particular Invoice, overriding the global rule for that particular Account.
ShipStation’s custom attributes work in a particular structure:
Attribute 1: value1 | Attribute 2: value2 | Attribute 3: value3
To declare a custom Net Terms window for a particular shipment’s Invoice, simply use the following
Custom Net Terms Days: XX
XX should be replaced with the numeric value in days the Net Terms should be set for this invoice.
Using the | separator between this and other custom attributes will ensure all data is properly parsed and processed when coming back into Zoey.
By offering this capability as part of the Shipping workflow our sellers use in ShipStation, it can allow another common task to be done in the same workflow, without jumping back and forth between various systems, and is yet another way Zoey aims to reduce the level of work needed to manage a B2B eCommerce business.
